Our dynamic children’s ministry, World Wide Kidz, teaches Bible principles at an early age beginning with the nursery and toddlers, all the way through fifth grade. Qualified leaders and teachers instruct with hands-on learning help bring the Bible to life. Every year F.C.O.C.’s children’s ministry provides children the opportunity for fun and growth through Vacation Bible School, nursing home visitations, camps and children’s musicals.
On Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10:30 am, children are involved in active learning with videos, crafts, and interaction with other children their own age. During worship service, children attend World Wide Kidz where praise and worship, puppets, object lessons and Bible teaching make church fun for children of all ages. We also have Bible Class (Sunday school) which breaks the children down into smaller groups, according to age. They join a teacher in a classroom setting and focus on a key Bible lesson and event. For preschoolers and kindergarteners, we provide a specialized class called Agapeland.
Awana Club, offers Scripture memory and practical Bible application through activities, music and study, meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm during the school year (September through May). Devotions and outdoor activities take place through the summer months (June through August), helping develop each child’s spirit, mind and body.
